Rear Taillights???

For some reason, a couple of days ago my rear taillights and my dash lights went out. I checked the fuses and they are all ok. I have a prestige alarm system installed on my car and there's a wire coming out of one of the fuses that is not connected to anything. COuld the alarm have something to do with my taillights???
