A/C question.
I have a 1994 mustang, and when I turn on my a/c I get nothing. Now when I set it to high I get cold air blasting and none of the others will work. And the vent, floor, normal a/c etc etc, it only blows through the vent. So I switched out that consule of the switches and still don't work any ideas?

RE: A/C question.
i have a similar problem in mine where when i turn on the A/C nothing happens but when i turn it on high it blasts hot air out of the defroster vents. i can't figure out what is causing this. the heat works normally, it is only the A/C

RE: A/C question.
it's quite simple your blower motor resistor is bad which by using resistors in series it lowers the availible voltage to the motor so the motor spins slower. anyway replace that then all the speeds will work

RE: A/C question.
which vent will it only blow through the defrost vent???? if so check your vaccum supply lines to the control panel......the supply line runs through the firewall to the control panel.....make sure it's not broken meaning the line out in the engine compartment somewhere.

RE: A/C question.
the blower motor resistor is seperate from the motor but I think it's installed really close to the blower motor case because it uses the air the blower motor circulates to keep the resistor pack cool

RE: A/C question.
behind the right hand side of the instrument panel in the a/c heater plenuim....... look for the blower motor assembley on the passanger side under the dash and look for a plug pack the resistor pack will be screwed int the air box close to the blower motor
