Default gears

i was wondering what gear to put in my 92 gt with 168000 miles 5 speed all stock
witch gear to put in and would be good for in town driveing and drag raceing once in a wile and still be woth the money i will be puting them in my self

You might want to go with 3.73's they will be pretty good for daily driver and drag on the weekends.

Well I will tell you what, I got 4.10's put in the other day. They are great for around town, and do very well on the freeway as well, most people over exaggerate the 4.10's on freeway driving, but it's not bad.

I have heard of many people that were disappointed with their 3.73'but have not heard of many disappointed with 4.10's.

I would go with 4.10's as well. You might want to check the rear brake pads.

Yep 4.10s get rid of the vibration block on the differential, save ya like 50lbs.

yea, Id get a frpp 3.73 gear and if you rearend is original id replace all the bearings and trac lock clutches

Well if you get down under your car and you see a huge block of iron attached by the differential, it looks completely unnecesary, and it is... You will know what I'm talking about if it is still there on yours, most people take them off right away.
