Default Car dies when I come to a stop or idle it for a minute

I initially thought it mightbe the underdrive pulley so I put the stocker back on and it made no difference. I tested the battery and it is fine so I put on another altenator I had laying around and it made no differece. The car starts up fine andI have to pedal it for afew timesto keep it running and thenit idles at 700rpms normally for a minute and then starts to surge a bit and stalls. I took it for a drive for the first time since completion and it drives fine until you want to slow down and then it stalls at around 1500rpm. It will start right up after it stalls. Could my adjustable fuel pressur regulator be set to low? I don't have a guage but from what I understand 38-40 is ideal for 30lb injectors. Any suggestions?

Timingwas set somewhere between 10 and 14 with a timing light, looks like 12.

vacuum leaks? cleaned IAC? set TPS? dirty fuel filter? fuel pump? dirty injectors? bad MAF?

so many things can be wrong [&:]

how did you set the pressure when you put the fpr on? are you getting a check engine light?
