Default Need suspension help!

Hi guys and gals, new to the forum and new to the Ford crowd and have a few questions.

#1. My front end is at factory ride height and the back is lowered. I like the car to be even. One of my friends told me that I can get springs from a 4 cylinder Mustang and put them on the front and that will lower it even with the back. Where can I get 4 cylinder springs? I do not have any local junk yards around here. Also open to other solutions but I don't have money to spend on an elaborate suspension setup.

#2.It seems when I take my foot off the gas and I'm at speed (40-80mph) the car has this uncontrolable sway. Almost like a twisting motion, this is in all conditions it does this and I have a baby that frequents cruise nights with me so I can't have this car swaying back and forth and feeling like I am losing control. My same friend told me Sub Frame connectors are the solution. Is this correct? My car's stats are in my sig.

Thanks in advance!

check your front end sway bar where it bolts up, end links could be broken. also does it sway alot when you go over larger bumps like a speed bump for example. could be a case of bump steer.

One option is to cut the front springs so it matches the back. It won't ride the greatest but it would be a temporary fix to make it look better.

Don't worry about it. I would also like to know the same thing! Yeah the back end seems to want to jump out to either side when I go over bumps/cracks in the road. It's a little bouncy on flat roads but it's not a lincoln. lol

i have 4 banger springs up front... i bought them new at autozone... they do their job... but they didnt really lower the front of my car, simply because they are not wore out like used ones are... but they still did what i wanted them to do, which was help w. weight transfer and dragracing

just get a set of springs... all 4. its not that much...and check ur sway bar links... if not, then when u do springs, think about new struts up front... subframes rly arent the problem

Cool thanks guys. I will check the end links for the sway bars. Tonight when I get home from work. I will also look into a lowering kit for the car. Maybe I'll sell off the rears or keep them for spares. Heck I'd buy some stock GT rears just to have it sitting normal again.
