I have done the jegs quad and adjuster, and stock cable; now my clutch doesnt fully engage. the cable is too tight.

and second gear sucks, but only when i shift at high rpms.

I was reading the mustang manual on how to switch it from old to new and they said you have to remove the whole steering colum and i was like yikes...so how is this actually done and it is that hard? thanks

Yeah, I read that in my manual too, then ignored it... I just pulled the cotter pins off so the quadrant could move, disconnected the old cable and get it out of the way, then went in through the cable hole with a pry bar to get the old quadrant off.

Dunno if that's the right or preferred way of doing, but that's what I did and it worked!

You dont need to remove the steering column. Just get in there and see what need's to come out, it is self explainitary once you start doing it.
