Default reliability?

Hi, I've always liked mustangs, and now I have an opportunity to pick up a very nice, moderately modified '95 GT from a friend for ~$8000. My question is this: are there any known, recurring defects, or has anyone here personally experienced a major reliability/defect issue with a 94/95 GT? One reason I ask is because our family has a 93 3.8 V6 T-Bird, and it blew a head gasket recently, after doing a little research I found out that its a fairly common issue, most likely related to the fact that it has aluminum heads and an iron block. But anyway, I'd just like to know what I'm getting myself into =)

Default reliability?

i have a very nice moderatley modified 95 mustang with just over 100k on it and it runs perfectly no problems. it started pinging a while ago but it was fixed by getting a new air filter and useing premium gas(you should use anyways). i dont think there are any problems that are common. the 5.0 is an exelent engine. i highly recomend this car. you can see pics of my car on this web site under photo album. i payed 6600 for it.

expect about 13-15mpg in town
