Default BBK Headers

Any body know if they weld the studs in? I snapped all four of mine doing a t5 conversion now I cant get them out, had the flange glowing red hot and a stud extractor on it, no dice. Pull 'em and take them some where? pullem and replace them? I would do that but I already bought a BBK O/R xpipe to fit the shorties. thanks! -stew-

no, they arent welded in. They are a real PITA to get out for some reason. I just took my set to the weld shop to heave them extracted for me. The had a h3ll of a time getting them out too. Just to let you know, the replacement studs are a little tricky t find. They are a metric size and there are 3 different pitches for the same size stud!

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll just take her to the shop and have them blow the studs out with a torch and put nuts and bolts in.

Yeah, I had to take mine to a muffler shop to have them removed, then I went with high strength nuts and bolts.
