Fuel Pressure at moderate acceleration?

Fuel Pressure at moderate acceleration?
Ok....I have a heavily pinched fuel line...new one is on the way (has been for 2 weeks)...but I was wondering what your guys Fuel Pressure looks like...
At idle, I am at 40. When I accelerate moderately....you know, normal everyday "legal" driving....it drops to 38.
When I hammer it, it will jump in the high 40s.....but at normal acceleration, it drops.
Is this normal, or should it raise slightly to41/42 at normal acceleration?

RE: Fuel Pressure at moderate acceleration?
I fixed the fuel line....What a pain with those subframe connectors too [:@]
But what a difference! No more bucking at low throttle....fuel pressure holds steady....very nice
The idle still surges a bit....
