meaning, all those particles from the clutches/band etc cannot be removed from the Torque Converter. You have to replace it, or it can be grinded open, cleaned, welded and rebalanced by a Converter Rebuilder or machine shop.
So will those littleparticles eventually ruin my converter??
also the 4:10 will heat your tranny up, and the same happened to me twice, because I DID HIGHWAY DRIVING
I do have a tranny cooler too.

you need to have the trans rebuild but you can have the trans cooler flushed out and the lines ect. if you take and put in another transmission and do not clean the cooler and or reuse the converter all the contamination from the trans is going to go into the rebuilt one. One word of advise is to get a A+ OD servo because the od band is the weakest part of the aod. in my shop we use a cooler flusher called Hot flush it goes onto both cooler lines and cycles hot trans fluid back and forth to break up and debree left behind from the old trans. Another thing you can do is to convert the drums and shell inside the trans to aode style because the aode uses a wider band. good luck
