If you pay $550 for some e6's your pretty stupid. They are worth about $2 dollars scrap and thats about it.

See if they have bench test flow data on them.
Gotta take those "flow" numbers with a grain a salt, but at least
it would be something to give a comparison of how "mod'd" they really are.

They have 1.9 intake valves like the GT-40's,rocker studs and .550 lift springs so
it looks like the right parts were used.

Cant beat $550 for the pair if they flow anywhere close to GT-40X or Y turbo swirl aluminum heads.

I have a set that I ported the crap out of ....I mean I really spent alot of time opening them up and smoothing all the intake runners down and I openened up the exhaust big time...I've yet to use them cause I'm going to have them fitted eventually with bigger valves but I'll have less then 400.00 in them when I'm done and they should flow close to if not better then gt.40's.....we'll see......[:-]

I'm betting you made them worse? did you cc every port and chamber? that heads isn't worth putting 100 in..when you can find sweet lightly usedaluminum ones for 550.00
