So I was priming the oil system on my 5.0 today, and noticed that after a few minutes, all my rockers were filling with oil (And dripping all over the headers) except for one of them. Closest to the passenger on the passenger side. Anyways, I went over to it and touched it and it has a little play in it (When it's at 0 lift).. Is this normal? The others didn't seem to move. This could be why it's not getting as much oil, n'est pas? Since the pushrod isn't jammed right into it? Is tihs a big problem? I think I heard it's normal once upon a time, but I can't remember.
I think I remember when I was building the motor I waited until the exhaust and intake were both at no tension, and tightened them down to 25lbs or so. Is this correct? Nothing with this 0-lash stuff and what not with stock ones right? At least I think they're stock. They look stamped, and have a bolt going through them into the head.

First of all, are your rockers adjustable? (Stud mount) If they are just bolted down straight in to the head with no stud, then it is normal for some to have play and others not. As for the oiling issue, I don't know.

Just stock.. 88 I think? I want to say E7's but I'm not sure. I Believe if I recall, they just bolted down to the head with a nut. So no need for adjustment right? Just snug em on there at 25lbs or so? Ok, I wasn't aware a little play is ok.. Now some don't HAVE any play.. Is that bad?
