Widest Tire on a stock rim

I finally got around to cleaning up my water pump leak and now the car is comin along. I need some new tires though. Anyone know what's the widest I can go on the stock GT rim-its an 87-93 rim?-i think there all the same 15 inch rim

my nabor has a 93 and that is a 16 inch rim i think they are the same width thoe his is a 245 55 16 not shure it the work on 15s thoe.

i run 245 60 R17 8 iche wide rim on my 93 cobra and on the 87lx i run a 245 60 R16 10 inch wide rim, but i guess that does not help you at all.

on the rear you can go 275-50-15
