your cats change the gasses from the exhaust into water and carbon monoxide so yes its normal dont worry about it

ORIGINAL: Boss_Hotrod

Water is just a bye product of combustion. The cat turns HC and CO into water and CO2. Most systems even without a cat will produce some water.
HACKGT350 & Boss_Hotrod are both mostly correct it isn't the cats that do the conversion though. It is a natural exothermic reaction from the combustion of hydro-carbons (gasoline)

CH3CH2CH3 + 5O2 ----> 3CO2 + 4H2O

So water from your tail pipe when the car is cold (and depending on the ambient temp) is natural. The cold metal of the exhaust system and tail pipe cause the vapor to cool rapidly and condensate (like an old fashion still) once the system is hot enough it stays in a vaporous form.

OK that gave me a head-ache had to think and look back on my books from college chemistry for engineers[8D]

i dont have cats and sometimes my exhaust blows water
yeah well me too, and i also have a blown headgasket
and air bubbles in the radiator to boot. i suspect ive had a leak since i got the car and it took 3000 miles for it to be obvious that it was a headgasket going. it can be hard to tell for sure, but i would check on it a bit more

i agree with 86GT 93LX. is the radiator needing refills at all? have you checked the radiator level?

Half a dozen same answers to the question but I'll be the odd one out here.

After 24 miles there should definately be no more water coming out of the exhaust.
