Default alt. bench testing, and a quick ?

anyone know how to bench test an alt? or do you need a machine?

and is there any way that i could put a good alt on my car, and somehow my car **** the alt up and make it not work? i dont think there is... but just checking, before i potentially ruin a 3rd, lol

i no parts stores do em for free, but its gotta get put in tonight, lol, in a few min actually, wasnt sure if i could check it myself somehow w. tools i have here...

and nothin on my car would make a good alt. go bad right? i mean terminals arent on wrong or anything...

i suppose if you were able to simulate the wiring plug somehow and slap an air gun on the pulley nut, you could.

and as far as your car killing them, i doubt it.

not around here... they close at 7 just like autozone


i put it on... its fine, alt was the problem.. buddys alt that i took was bad too, lol... so problem solved
