thanks for all the replys guys, and yeah my car is mostly stock for now but over the winter im getting a 347 kit + and nice H/C/I so i am going to need a nice clutch my current clutch that i have in the car right now is a LUK clutch and it dont grab all that great

yeah i agree, Stage 2 should be plenty. They hold 520lbs of torque. The Stage 3 would be way overkill.

i broke 2 stock t-5's and a t-5z. now i built a astroperformance HD T-5, and i hope it holds for a while.

I have a Spec Stage 1 right now and it's much better over stock. It grabs extremly well and has a much better pedal feel over stock, doesn't have that mushy stock feel that winds up being stiffer than hell once you actually get the clutch out. Just remember, get a clutch that matches your power ratings and numbers. A stage 3 will be way too much and will just wind up blowing your T-5, a stage 2 + will also be more than enough to do that. I'd reccomend a Stage 1 or Stage 2 max unless you have some wicked mods.

I still stand strong by my autocom stage 3. its a six puck design that holds almost twice as much torque as a stock tranny can handle. pedal feel is alot softer than stock, and grabs like a light switch. not to mention theyr alot cheaper than other stage 3's. probably the best clutch ive had in ANY car ive owned, and thats including some "name brand" clutches. no joke.

you can see my mods in my sig as far as power and I will be getting a spec stage 2 when my stock clutch is gone
