I'm pretty sure breaking in a roller cam is a myth, I didn't and havn't had any problems. You're not mating the cam to the lifters like you do in flat tappet.

alright i'm about to prime the engine counterclockwise right? And how can I be sure that i'm on TDC? And how do I adjust the timing just turn the dizzy? sorry for all of the questions this is my first time.

If you have a flat tappet engine, I would use Chevron 'RPM Delo 'for oil on the first start-up-cam break in period.......

Yep, compression stroke tdc, not exhaust stroke tdc.

So yea I havent started it yet, b/c the place gave me the wrong primer tool, and accessory belt. The primer tool they gave me fitted a 5/16 and I need something smaller I guess b/c the shaft was spinning inside it, I have a 90 GT 302 does anyone know what primer size I need?
