Default Fuel Pump Question

Hi everyone this is my first post here. I have a 1990 Ford Mustang that I have a fuel pump question about. Before I bought the car about 2 years ago someone swapped in a carburated engine and installed nitrous. I have since uninstalled the nitrous and removed the malfunctioning Holley fuel pressure regulator. However, there is still a Holleyelectric fuel pump installed (I dont know exact specs). My question is now that the nitrous is removed can I convert back to a normal fuel pump? How hard would this be and what fuel pump would I need to buy? Thanks for your help.

No but I was assuming the high pressure fuel pump was for the nitrous. I was thinking I might be getting too much fuel into the carb from it now that I dont need that much and it isnt regulated causing the raw fuel smell? Should I leave it?

i would say you do have a high pressure pump in there if it did have a nitrous setup. you are going to probably going to get an adj. fuel press. reg. to make sure you arent putting too much in there.

Yea that was my guess too. How hard would it be to swap out the pump with a stock one? Is it located in the fuel tank? Thanks for your help guys.
