Default starting and idle problem

Recently my car has been very hard to start and also has been idling pretty rough. I've replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and still the problem continues. Someone told me it might be the ignition control module.

It could be. Also check your coil. You might be getting a weak spark

mine has a hard time starting and it's idle is irratic i have found my problem it is a vacuum leak, you should spray carb cleaner all around vacuum line ends and also upper to lower intake manifold while engine is running and listen for idle fluctuation, if you hear the idle raise or fluctuate then you have a vacuum leak

Does it start more easily if you depress the gas pedal a little? If it does, start thinking along the lines of a vacuum leak or the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC). If your spark is weak, I'd kinda expect more problems at load & higher RPM t han at idle. If it's the IAC, sometimes they can be cleaned, but whenever I've had a problem one, I have eventually had to change it.
