Default Swapping Rearends

As straight forward as it looks?

what do i do about the rear drum brakes?

any suprises i might be in for?

Rear Disc Conversion Haha it is not all that hard to do but it would be wise to get a chilton book or some sort of mustang repair manual because you have to remember how the springs go together and such

should just be brake lines, check the bushings on the new rear, might want to change them

I would pull the axles out and unbolt the brake backing plates. That way you don't have to disassemble the brakes or worry about bleeding the brakes either. You can keep the brakes on your car that you know work properly.

ummm somonejust said somthing like the springs in the rear can like cut me in half or somthing, wtf

any one have an article that can walk me through this?

Springs wont cut you in half. Take out the shocks and lower the rearend and the springs pretty much fall out. I have heard the coil over strutstrying to remove the spring could do bodily harm if not done properly.But we dont have to worry about that on our foxes.
