No, it is there to cool the EGR spacer.....
Think about it, in the winter when you start it cold, the coolant is cold.

what you really need to do is post a video of what you are chasing after......why??? to see if it's eccessive or just normal also if you have a pressure tester and you suspect a cooling system leak whether it is internal or external a drop in pressure can confirm a prob instead of chasing after a possible ghost[&:]
if you have an internal leak into the intake then pull all the plugs and pump up the tester and eventually the cylinder will fill with coolant as everything in the intake eventually leads down hill!! it'll only puddle for so long till it dribbles down the runners to the cumbustion chambers and so it doesn't puddle on top of a valve rotate the motor over by hand after a long soak under pressure and with a small led shine in spark plug holes looking for coolant if you have an internal crack somewhere in the heads
