Default timing help and TDC help

So i'm trying to get my engine on TDC and i'm doing this by myself so I think hey i'll hook up a compression tester on cylinder one and have the guage down under the car so I can manually move the crank and watch when I get compression right? well i've turned the crank over 3 or 4 times and nothing can someone help?

dude get off of under that car and use as screw driver on both starter relay leads to bump the motor or get an assistant to use the key to do so
