The reason for AFR's being so expensive is because YOU tell them how you want them, and they make them for you, they are not an on-the-shelf item. I have found them for under 1300, but after tax would be right around there.

right around $1300 complete
Hey Bobby I found a sight through a yahoo search that had the AFR-185's for 1350.00 all day long.

They look pretty nice too.
cool! would the 185's be overkill on a stock motor until u get a bigger motor/FI?

Not really overkill, they would just not perform to their full potential.

Right, they would be allowing more air into your engine, thus meaning more than a stock 302 could take, meaning they would definately perform better than stock, not as efficient as the 165's but more efficiently if you added a power adder or stroker/bore...

D, I don't remember the site, but it was one of the first one's on the list when i did a yahoo search for "AFR-185".

I am not sure how much it would drop as it is making your engine run more efficient. I dont know if you would really see a drop in normal driving, maybe if you launch from every light.. NOT RECOMMENDED! lol..... Maybe 2 MPG for both sets.

D&D motorsports has the 165/185 stud/ped heads for $1285 with free shipping and will beat any advertised price.
There website is www.dndmotorsports.com and email is danddmotorsports@yahoo.com, hope this helps.
