the 165's are a great street heads with few mods..... low end - mid range torque will be alsum in your lightly mods car...now if you plan on ungrading soon then the 185's would be your ticket..but with the 185's with your current mods ..pistons would have to be flycut...this can be done with the heads on....with your combo as is you wouldn't get full effect of the heads...as for cost thier about the same price...maybe look to a like new used heads which may have already been port match

ok well it might be a year or 2 untill i blow it so im thinking that i could get 165's now and then when i decied to get a blower or what every i can sell my 165's and get 185's.
But with my mods do you think i would make over 300hp or be right their. 70mm tb, bbk intake tube, cam is .522 lift and .268 dur on intake and .279 dur on exhaust with a 112 sep, the motor is balenced, 24lb injectors, aeromotive fuel regulator. i dont think i will make much but i dont know.

get the 185's and when you engine does go then you can rebuild or bore it for a stroker and you wont have to buy new heads

Thats what i htink im going to do

i paid $1250 with free shipping for my 165's. didnt effect my miliage and it dropped a full second off my quartermile.
