As a single...nope, won't flow enough air; a twin setup yeah that is a common JY set.

Depends on your definition of novice...possibly. The install itself is not so difficult if you are fair at fabrication, however tuning is an entirely other issue, if you don't know what you are doing you should prolly have it done as the chances of damage are dramatically increased.....

Luck

Its your lucky day, this guy at the o.c car show had a 95 5.0 twin turbo t/3 t/4 hybrid turbos, he did custom fabraction but didn't look that hard, she sounded sweet going down the road. My camera is f*cking up but i do have pics, check out general discussion for pics tonight or tommorow

A proper turbo set up is more than just bolting on some turbo's, fabricating the tubing and running it up the road. Thats honestly about 20% of the whole deal. The rest is putting together a fuel system to support the boost your running, getting it tuned right, trying to get as little backpressure as you can to keep from blowing header gaskets once a week, blah blah blah, i could go on forever. Best thing you could ever do to help you get a turbo set up is to find some good books and websites and READ READ READ, trust me on this, you should know just about every aspect of technical data you can learn before you even touch a turbo, it really will help you out tons in the long run.
