Default Header Question

On an 85 GT. How close to the K-Member are the stock headers supposed to be. On the passenger side mine looks like it is touching the K-member but on the drivers side I have about 1/4 inch of clearance. The header is not touching on the passengers side but it is so close you would barley be able to fit a matchbook cover through it. I inspected the engine mounts and they look good.

does the motor rock if you rev it. it should not be that close to the k member. check the mounts again or just get prothane motor mounts.

May be sagging motor mounts....for an 85? You are probably due for some new ones...

Motor does not rock and motor mounts not spongy. They seem to be in really good shape. Maybe there is something I am missing on this. Here are some pictures.
