do you guys think i would have any problems if i mounted it upside down to hide all the wires and the ****? or is there another way to hide the wires??? thanks a lot!

I have an electric fan i think its Imperial brand, this past weekend i installed underdrive pullies and now at idle around 800 rpm's my battery guage drops quite a bit at stop lights below charging so im going to put the stock alternator pullie back on. If its in park and i bring the rpm's up to 1,000 it is fine. Get a higher amp alternator or keep the stock pullie if you go with an electric fan. My belt slipps if use the stock alternator pullie beacause the tensioner is maxxed out may need a shorter belt when mixing pullies with the underdrive ones beacause of the size difference.

I dont know about the whole new alt thing... The flex-a-lite elec fan is made for the 5.0 and It doesn't say anywhere that you need a new alternator to run it.. In fact I saw a guy post that he has underdrive pulleys, elec fan with the stock alt. and he has been running the set-up for over 3 years with no charging issues. Either he is a 1 in a million, or people are a little too worried, although I would hate to try it out and find out that it killed your battery.. heh
