i think i am the only one to notice this but your asking how much will 225/70/15 tires throw of your speedo from 225/60/15 right? well if you guys know anything about tires then you would know that the first number is height second is width and third is rim size. the only number that can affect your speedo is the height and seeing that those are exactly the same then your speedo will read the exact same as before

the first number (225) is the section width of the tire, in mm
the second number (70, or 60 for stock) is the aspect ratio.. which is a percentage of the tires section width, that makes the sidewall height.. (70% or 60% of the width of the tire is the sidewall height)
and the last is the rim size..
you would however be correct is we were talking about floatation sizes.. i.e. 31x10.5x15, or 26x10.5x15
but we are not talking about floatation sizes, were talking about metric sizes

awe i love junkyards i found a set of fonedialers on a t bird with 225/60/15 with nice tread too and no curbrash except one rim $15.50 each, i got them all for 67.52 out the door. i really didnt need 4 but the tires were in good shape and extra rims cant hurt either since i dont run across rims much at the super cheap boneyards

yeah i call em both, but they really do look like a rotary fone dial, lol, nice score though for the price. i actually have10 rims of these now; 2 sets plus a half set with the incorrect 225/70/15..well i need to toss the wheel that got hit in the accident its bent.do studded snow tires help at all on mustangs? i was thinkn of maybe setting up some on the extra rims since it gets nasty up here sometimes in the winter

yeah, i had only the extra 2 till yesterday too, they pop up here and there on t birds at boneyards, usually they disappear right away when the car hits the yard. i just got lucky yesterday. i got that set off of a 86 turbo coupe and the other 2 ones that are too big came off some v6 t bird i think
