no brake lights
So i just found out my brake lights are no longer working...i want to fix this quick before i cause an accident. i'm looking for some pointers on where to look. I'm pretty sure its not the bulbs b/c the were working fine not to long ago..
what are the odds of both of them going out at the same time..
i was looking around by the brake pedal for anything out of the ordinary and noticed there is a plug/switch at the top of the brake "arm". do these go bad?
any other ideas?
thanks in advance

RE: no brake lights
Yes, they go bad. Unplug it, jump the 2 wires together and see if they come on, if yes, the switch is bad. Also, those wires tend to brake, give them a tug to be sure they are still connected.
