Whats needed in the conversion of a 5.0 block from hydraulic roller to solid?

Hyd roller to solid roller should be cam & lifters.....springs to match of course and watch the lift for ptv clearance.

Solid rollers are normally used to extract maximum HP from a combination but usually don't come into play unless HIGH rpm are expected....

Don't think so but you'd need to check with the cam/lifter mfg's to be sure.
