When I turn the steering wheel to the right i hear a squick and, I had some one look at it and he thouht it was a tie rod end. I was wondering how whould I check to see if that is what it is. If that is what it is doI have to replace inner and outer tie rod ends and this only occurs when I turn the wheel to the right what so what side do I really need to look over closely.

I usually check for noises like that on an alignment rack with the weight of the car resting on all 4 wheels and using a Automotive probe/stephascope.......move it down the spindle and all moveable joints until the noise is loudest....at that point you'll know what's making the noise.. like a tie rod end or ball joint...if it's a outer tie rod end ...replace just that and do an alignment and call it a day!!!

its more than likely a balljoint... tie rods dont usualy squeal like balljoints, when they go bad

its not really a squeal its more like a creak(like pop, pop, pop, pop)
