Default 1987, forged internals?

hey all, i checked the archives, and there are lots of different answers. i'm wondering if my 87 5.0L has all forged internals?? from what i've read i believe its got forged pistons, but what about rods and stuff?? i've just seen too many different answers. i also read that stock forged internals aren't good once u start modding the engine and adding a lot of hp, is this so?? i plan to rebuild my engine next year, adding new heads, cam, intake, possible supercharger, so i'd like to know so i can research. thanks.

The stock motor can take quite abit of power. You will split the block before the internals go. Well atleast under boosted conditions. Cheack out turbomustang forum (http://www.turbomustangs.com/forums/index.php?s=). Theres alot of guys runnign completey stock motors makeing serious power, some splitting the block.
