hello everyonne well i have a 5.0 and my stock cam messed up, so i had to put the trickflow stage 2 cam in it...i cranked it up and drove it and it runs , but i dont wanna drive it until i get my heads done....i cant afford any other heads so my stock heads will have to do...i have 560 lift springs, roller rockers,studs, and im getting hardened pushrods, giudeplates and new retainers...what else will i need and do you think i will have any power? it also has long tubes offroad xpipe edelbrock torquer intake and 600 holley

itll be ok... obviously u know thats too much cam for those heads... i mean i dont think its gonna hurt you any... but its very possible that it wont help either... get them heads asap

 

yea i knew those heads arent good....but if anyone wants to donate a set of heads just send them my way!!

Man you gonna choke that sucka out til you get the heads[&:]...if it were me I'd do away with the torquer intake if it's the one that sits the carb sideways...old school I'd try a performer rpm air gap it'llgive you excellentlow and mid power and maybe try a 650 double pumper with mech secondaries for great throttle response

 

yea i plannned on getting the 650 dp and heads and better intake later on after i get use to the power...im 16 and i dont want to kill myself yet lol..so im gonna progress in power gradually..but since the ther cam wiped out i had no choice....plus im broke lol
