Default I have A Big Leak, and its about to rain again

The stang I just bought was in the rain last night and when i went out in the morning the interior was soaked, even the back reast on the drivers seat, I found one spot where water is comming in over the rear view mirror. This needs to be sealed from the outside right? how would I go about doing this. Thanks in advance

i would think it would look nicer of you did it from the inside. just pull down the headliner and move the insulation out of the way. it was prob leaking in from the mirror and going through the headliner and just dripping in random spots.

convertible?? hatch back??? run a hose over top of the car and get inside and look for all potential leaks.....if it's a hatch..may need a new windshield seal....if convertible new top seal to frame???

Your Door weatherstripping could be leaking and that would cause the water over the seat and it can run over to the center of the window because water is good at getting at all the wrong places lol.

a bad seal from a saggy door would let water in

my convertable leaked right in the middle of the windshield. not the top seal itself, but the windshield seal.
thin black strip going around the windshield, whoever installed it made the joint right in the middle on the top, and it seperated and dripped right down onto my shifter/console

if your door is sagging, you need to fix the bushings on your door. My old 93 Fox had this problem at one point. My door bushings were bad and it casued leaks. I had the water follow the liner and drop onto the drivers head rest. How the hell it got there I had no idea.
