Default finally getting an 8.8 rear

ok so im getting an 8.8 rear tomorrow for 75 bucks and im doing a full overhaul on this thing only thing is the gears im going with 3.73's now where should i get them? i was thinking ebay specials wont hold up very well and to just get some off summit or something what do you guys say?

thank you bernie. no im not just throwing the gears in im gunna get the shim bearing kit and rebuild trac lot kit. i picked up the rear today its still sitting in the hatch of my car till i can drop it off at work on tuesday its gunna take like 2-3 months to get all the parts and install it im so pumped over this

I would buy the new carbon fiber posi clutch plates from ford, they are supposed to last longer along with a new pinion bearing thats been honed out for a slip fit to set the pinion depth. Iwould set thebacklash at .008

thanks but i already know how to set the pinion depth and backlash. i also hate to inform you but you can preset the backlash like that all ring and pinion sets are different so the depths and backlashes will never ever be the same
