Default possible driveshaft problem

okay so i had a whining from my rear end, and me and my boss put it up on a lift and i put it in 4th and drove it to 75 mph, and that car was shaking soo bad, so my boss says the driveshaft is out of balance...so i take it home and put it up on ramps, and pull the driveshaft, and i go and get it balanced, so of course they said it wasnt too off, but i should get new u-joints, so i put some new u-joints in, and i havent driven the car for like two weeks, until yesterday when I drove down to ocean city...so on the way here, i was up around 70-75, and it goes good, until i get off the throttle and then it shakes...not really bad but i got the shakes...do i need to go rebalance the shaft? or do i have other problems? and what could my whine be from? gears?

A driveshaft will not know the difference (concerning vibration) whether accelerating or decellerating.

Check the rear suspension bushings. Your tail shaft bushings, pinion bearing, rear flange bolts. The pinion angle may be changing when you are decellerating.

did you recently have gears put in the rear?? if not could be a bad pinion bearing or carrier bearings....my 92 was whining and the carrier bearings were all pitted....replaced and noise was gone...as far as the vibration goes I would start with the tires and put them on a spin balancer and look while it's spinning to see if the rim or any one tire has a excessive wobble...could be either or

i see..hmm im prolly gunna take it in next week to get looked at...the tires are all new, and i balanced them all myself fairly recently so i dont think its them, but im pretty sure the whine is from the gears...has anyone heard of richmond gears whining? ive been told to go with frpp gears, so i may do that down the road

My car had a driveline shake when letting off the gas and it was the throttle cable being out of adjustment.
My car has an AOD though.

Ur gonna replace ur gears because they arent the right company. Call me crazy but I thought the whine in the gears is from how they are aligned or what material they are made of.
