dip stick

Default dip stick
my dad was changing the oil pan gasket on my car and he took the dip stick out and i cant find where it goes into the motor at. please help. o im not sure if it would matter but i have a 88 stang with a 79 302 in it

When looking at the engine, it is on the right side of the engine just under the head. It has a flat area around it, and is pretty easy to find. I hope this helps, it is really not that hard.
