Default gas octane...??????

ok, so I was trying to pass state emissions without cats and it failed ofcourse! however, the inspector said that I can cheat and put a full tank of 93 octane, 2 bottlec of high performance octane booster, and 5 bottles of 100 proof rubbing alcohol and I should pass. well, he was wrong 'cause I failed again but is there anything else I can do???? and DAMN my car is runnin good.lol there is such a difference in performance when it comes to changing from 87 to 93+ octane. no doubt probably .25-.5 sec of 1/4 times!!!!!! car has ALOT more pep. also, with what I did, what octane do you think im runnin?

i failed with cats the first 2 times then i did a tune up and used some dry gas. How off are you from passing, Usually they give you a sheet saying what the limit is in 3 catergories. Like c02 and 2 other ones. I kept failing the c02 one but finally on the 3rd time i passed but i used dry gas. I dont think its possible to really pass without Cats unless there is some really good crap out there that someone can hook you up with , or your car just runs damn good.

put cats on for the easiest way or pay someone for the tags. maybe you can get away with simulators. adding octane isnt going to knock off a .5 of second off your times. and those put in tank stuff dont work. also you need to be able to pass visual.
