the best heads all depend on ur combo. ur to vague with your question cause it seems like ur question is asking what brand are the best heads. if your building a mild 302, then yes edlebrocks can be better the afr's. if your building 347 or any bigger stroker, then edlebrock isnt goin to be your number one choice. the jr's are good but the 185's still flow better.

to restate your question, AFR is not a head, its a company so be specific on what head u want us to compare with.

for a realistic daily driver go with AFR's, and if your getting a 6 speed i assume you have alot of power? so get the 185s

i had the performer's,and then switched to afr's this past summer,and it is night,and day........it does boil down to the right combo..

to add one more thing....most racer's use dart,brodix,and trick flow...that's what iv'e seen.
