Default 1988 5.0



ok there is a 1988 5.0 drop top with a 5-speed....it has 73k miles.....stainless steel headers.....flowmasters.....3.73 gears??....posi.....there is a tad bit of rust on the passenger door panel.......some rips in the leather seats......he wants 4400 obo......is it worth it?</P>

you have to ask your self is it worth 4400 to you..that's the most important question, next if you want a market value, use edmunds.com or kbb.com to look up the list on it...if it's been raced a lot you probably won't want it, that 74k could be misleading...</P>

I got my 91 for 3550, but it had some issues (no rear window, crappy seats, no stereo, some broken interior plastic, salvage title)
4400 for one in good shape doesn't sound too bad. I'd probably offer him less though.

4400 is kinda expensive id say for a beater 5.0 and heavier convertable. It prolly has more than 73k

Some of you act like the convertible is 1000lbs heavier. It's not all that much heavier. What is it? About 200lbs more than a notch?
