I was thinking. i know stock they are Between 3000 and 3200 depending on trim and year and such..

how ever. how light can you get a fox. as far as weight reduction can go w/o becoming a funny car.

i would love to drop 1000 lbs. but i think my hope are to high

 

I think 1000 is way too high. Under normal circumstances I bet you could get it down 500 lbs while keeping creature comforts and streetability. There are plenty of threads on weight reduction so im not gonna list the many many different ways to do it.

 

I got my 89 coupe down to 2700 #'s.

dry cell battery
fiberglass fenders
doors
hatch

rims

take out AC

like down to the bone. just enough to take a cruise in and to pass inspection in Texas ( lol ) like its diff here lol
