removing smog pump

quick question, when removing the smog pump, do you have to do anything with the wires and other stuff that connects to it, or do you just unplug it all, take it off, and put the new bracket on with a shorter belt???

You have to plug the two wires under the hood (assuming its the same as SN95), the pipe at the midpipe and the hole in the back of each head.
