Am I missing something here?

Am I missing something here?
Ok, so I am finally getting around to changing out the leaking inlet hose to my heater core. I am new to this I and was under the impression it was just a matter of lossening the two clamps and removing and replacing the hose and then I'm good to go. I've loosened the clamp at each end and the hose still doesnt even budge. Is there a technique to taking this hose off or am I just not using enough elbow grease?\thanks.

If you yank on the heater core side to hard then be prepared to damage the heater core...usually you can take a cotter pinL shaped tool and run it under the lip of the hose to loosen the hose up and if its siezed to bad for that to work then take a razor blade and slice the side of it since you are replacing the hose ..damaging it won't mater but you definately don't want to twist on the heater core side to hard

RE: Am I missing something here?
ok, I'm curretly taking the hose off, I got the one end that attached to the heater core off alright, but I can't seem to even get the other end loose, there is a clamp on the end but I loosen the screw in it and the clamp doesnt move. Should loosening the screw lossen the clamp? Any help please? Thanks.
