i know the lift on an e cam with 1.6's is .498/ .498. How much do the 1.7's add?

well divide .498 by 1.6 and then multiply by 1.7 = .529

Total valve lift has nothing to do with PtV...... you need to check (= this is the part everybody has a problem with...... you want to be able to bolt it on, torque it down to spec and move on). Unfortunately, reality is totally different.
