Ok my car has been having trouble with idling, It idles normal, then outa the strange blue, the idles surges and idles low. My car runs better with the IAC unplugged, will this hurt anything, it runs good with it unplugged. The IAC is pissing me off.what Do I do, I already cleaned it and it still does that but when its unpluggged it runs right.WTF I HATE this IAC.[:@][:@][:@]
it sounds sad but I have no money right now, so getting a new one is outa the options, But is it bad to leave in unplugged it, Heck my car runs better with it unplugged.
I.A.C. stands for idle air control valve or sensor, it is essentially a controled vacuum leak that allows more air in when needed. If you unhook it the ECM will go to a default preset value so your car will still run and function with out it being hooked up. If you unhook it and the car shuts off you may not have your idle adjusted properly.
