I used to work for a automobile finance company and I know how it works....Do you still owe alot of money on this vehicle or is it paid for?....There are so many people that take the money that they owe on one car and transfer it to the next....Hate to sound like your dad but if you still owe money on it get it paid for first in full so then You can start out fresh....Cars are not good investments just hobby vehicles and emotional ties....the money that you dump in a hobby car is not what you are going to get back in the end...I always tell people that if you are going to fix up a car and dump a ton of money in it to keep it for awhile because you'll never get it back....Try trading in your vehicle to CARMAX....they hooked me up the other day...I am in a financial bind right now paying off some debt so I sold my 2003 F150 XL to them for $10000 with 49000 miles on it....got a lot more than I thought and no hassles or haggles...I plan on buying a 1990 ford bronco II for $2000 which I can easily work on for dependable transportation....My project car, 89 gt resurrection I call it will never get its value if I decide to sell it and I know it....BIT OF ADVICE KEEP IT SIMPLE

thats a nice car u got there. id say u could get a good 7-8 grand out of it.
why sell it though??? if you want a good project, just put a t-5 in it urself.
not that hard. just get the tranny, bellhousing, cables and pedal ect. id get most of it used but buy new trans.

thanks guys, yea my car is paid off now. so i dont have to worry, but your right you never get back what you put in. i always wanted an old bronco II those are awesome. Also i was wanting a used t-5 but conversion kits ive found cost 1500 dollars, i really want one, but i heard its a real hassel and it would be easier to sell and get another one.
