Variable lifters?

RE: Variable lifters?
They claim to be more 'squishy' at low rpm and become 'solid' at high rpm, based on their construction. I can see how time would be a factor in allowing oil to get through a small hole. So because of that, it would rob some lift and duration at low rpm, which is the same as saying 'variable'. Can it be measured? Probably with a vacuum gage using both types of lifters. More accuracy would require special equipment...
I guess if the only thing you change is the lifters, a vacuum gage would be good place to start. Let us know how it goes if you do that. I used them since build one, so did not have the opportunity.

I use them mostly in auotmatic cars....they have been around for about 15-20 year....they are very durable....I put my brother 350 together about 10 years ago not 1 problem and he runs the sh it out of it shifting around 7k....they really helped out the vacuum for power brakes..didn't have to use the booster can
