Default Help reading carb spec sheet

I just got the build sheet for my carb and i have no idea what im lookin at. it may as well be in chineese. Here is the way it breaks down.

A 780 is too big for a mild 302 unless it's built to the hilt!!! and even then a 650 to me is sufficient...anyway the oly real important numbers to worry about are jet sizes and a 6.5 power valve is standard but what's your build on your motor for choosing this carb..is it the one in your sig????????

a 650 vac. secondaries (and the 650 DP i tried) were both pigs outta the box compared to the cheesy little 4160 holley 600 on my 306 and that thing was nasty

mjr it is the sheet for the engine in the sig. I just dont really know what the numbers mean. I had to fill out all of this stuff with pro systems when i ordered it so i have to assume it is good. Can you give me a little learn'n?
