idle problems
the search func officially blows, it turns up no results.
in the mornings after it turns on it sounds like a cam(really lopey) but its not. its all stock
before it would take afew seconds then even out and idle normal. but yesterday morn it took nearly 3 or 4 minutes and didnt and died twice.
ive set out to clean:
iac
the pcv
check the tps
and need info on how to go about cleaning these components and if theres anything else i nned to look for let me know
info on my car 87 5.0 SD, no recent mods
thanks everyone.

RE: idle problems
You can start by cleaning the throttle body with carb cleaner. Just remove the rubber air intake until you can get to the throttle body with a can of cleaner. You should also remove the IAC valve and spray it out good. Just make sure you have a new gasket or dont damage the old one. Try one thing at a time though so you know what the problem actually was.
