with that hp level depends on what you had before but a spec stage II or stage III may be the way to go....but there are as many opinions on clutches as there are on cam choices so the skys the limit here on brands

I really like my spec stage 3, I have around 550rwhp and it grabs hard, just make sure your other driveline parts are going to take that hp.
I broke a ford racing T-5Z and 2 stock t-5's, and my rear gears so far, so the clutch will not slip

kalash:

Let me know if you decide on the Spec Stage 3 clutch. Ihave a '93 GT (which is still 10.5") and should work in your car. I am waiting on a whole SPEC Stage 3 kit to arrive from the shop I ordered it from. It is all going to be brand new 5 pc. kit, clutch, pressure plate, alignment tool, throwout bearing, and pilot as well.

I ended up going with a different kit as that was too much for my car, and I would lose out with the restocking fee by sending it back. I haven't even advertised it locally yet.

I have another kit coming (more appropriate for my car)that is supposed to have the rear main seal in it as well, so I can include the extra seal that I ordered if we come to an agreeable price.

I will let the clutch go for less than SPEC's retail price of $339. E-mail me at bigredstang@yahoo.com if interested. Thanks and good luck with your car.

I am in Phx, AZ and will ship from there.

Take care and good luck.
